Bay Apartment is situated on the second floor of an impressive red sandstone building along Battery Place in Rothesay.  The apartment is accessed through a well maintained close at the front of the building and is located on the second floor.  Bay Apartment still holds a host of original features including a beautiful painted glass front door and high ceilings.

Once inside, there is a large hallway where all rooms are accessed off of.  Guests will have use of a big hall cupboard to store shoes, boots, coats and umbrellas.

The lounge is spacious with a spectacular bay window offering stunning views over Rothesay Bay and up Loch Striven.  It is equipped with a comfortable 3 seater sofa and plush armchair and also benefits from a working electric fire place.

The front facing bedroom is a good size with a comfortable king size bed and plenty of storage for clothes and other personal belongings.

Opposite the lounge, there is a large open plan dining room and kitchen.  The dining room overlooks the shared garden and drying green at the back.  Keen cooks can make use of the vast array of cookery books available for guests to use.  The kitchen is a good size with enough cupboard and counter space for guests to enjoy plenty of homemade meals.  It comes equipped with a large fridge freezer, double electric oven and hob, microwave, kettle and toaster.  There is also a washing machine available for guests to use.

The family bathroom has a large walk-in shower, toilet and wash hand basin.

Bay Apartment is centrally located yet far away enough from the town for guests to savour the peacefulness that Bute has to offer.  The apartment is a great base for couples who are keen to explore everything the island has to offer during the day and also in the evenings.
