Lodge Eleonora is a spacious 2 bedroom bungalow located in the idyllic area of Ascog on the Isle of Bute. Guests can enjoy stunning views across Ascog Bay and along the Clyde from the large lounge with sliding doors leading out to a big terrace. Relax and unwind in the newly fitted 6 person hot tub which can be added on to your booking at an additional cost. *Please read notes below at the end of the description*
Lodge Eleonora consists of 2 large bedrooms, a spacious lounge, big dining kitchen and family bathroom with a walk-in shower (with step up) and separate corner bath.
The front facing bedroom is a generous size with a king size bed and a single bed with little seating area to admire the lovely sea views.
The second bedroom is situated at the rear of the property and has a super king size bed and built-in wardrobe. It also conveniently has a wash-hand basin in the room.
Maximum Occupancy: The property sleeps a maximum of seven (maximum adults is 5 plus 2 infants). Please note the number of persons occupying the accommodation must not exceed the number stated here. Both bedrooms are large enough to comfortably fit a travel cot.
The lounge is impressively large with a wonderful feature fireplace (unfortunately not available for guest use) and sliding glass doors which lead out to a raised stone terrace. From the lounge guests can enjoy the spectacular sea views across Ascog Bay. If you look closely you can enjoy seals swimming in the bay and sunbathing on Ascog point or even spot the otters fishing for their meals! There is a large flat screen TV with Bluray player and freesat Sky box for guests to use and also a selection of board games and books.
The dining kitchen is spacious and has sliding doors leading out to the large private mature gardens with its very own pond – have a look out for frogs, tadpoles and even ducks! In the kitchen is a large dining table suitable to seat 6 or 8 – when extended. The kitchen is fully fitted and well equipped with all mod-cons including fridge / freezer, electric oven, gas hob and dishwasher. There is also a cafetiere, microwave, kettle, toaster and ‘Soda stream’.

The hot tub is situated in an ideal elevated position to make the most of the breathtaking views across Ascog Bay. Adjoining to the hot tub is a raised terrace with comfortable lounge seating. Towels for the hot tub are provided; however, we do recommend that you bring your own slip on shoes and bath robes if desired.
Finally, Lodge Eleonora is also equipped with an EV CHARGE POINT for those travelling with electric and hybrid vehicles. Please note that the use of this charge point is available at an additional cost – charge is depending on usage.

Bedrooms: Front facing bedroom with king size and single bed, range of drawers, and wardrobe. Rear bedroom with super-king size bed, range of drawers, fitted wardrobe and wash-hand basin. Hair dryer provided.
Bathroom: Mains powered walk-in shower, corner bath, wash-hand basin and w.c.
Garden/Parking: Off road parking space for 1 car at front of the bungalow; large mature gardens to the side of the house with feature pond; raised stone terrace at the front of the house accessed by living room and from outdoor areas; shared drying area at the rear. EV charger is available for use at an additional charge
Hot tub: Available at an additional cost. A 6 person hot tub in located on the elevated terrace at the rear of the garden. This must be pre-booked at least 1 week prior to arrival
Heating/Hot water: Gas fired combi boiler supplies radiators in every room. Hot water supplied by boiler as well.
Bed Linen and Towels: Bed linen and one hand towel and one bath towel per guest is provided.
More at this Property: Iron and ironing board, vacuum, broom, dustpan and mop and bucket are provided. Clothes airer. Wireless internet access. Towels for the hot tub are provided(must be prebooked). Guests are asked to bring their own appropriate footwear to walk to and from the hot tub.
Additional fees: Pet fee at £10 per pet. Highchair and travel cot available to hire at £10 each. Please note number of pets and additional requirements at the time of booking. EV charger – cost depending on use. Hot tub – additional fee for entire stay
Pet Policy: Well behaved pets may be considered. Please get in touch if you would like to bring a pet to discuss this. Please ensure you bring your own pets bedding, towels and food dishes. Pets are not permitted on the furniture or beds. Pets must not be left unattended in the property.
Arrival and Departure: Arrival from 4pm. Departure by 10am. Early check-in and late check-out may be requested but cannot be guaranteed.
